been in ("the app", "we") is a travel tracker for marking the countries and cities you've visited. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it minimal.
What we collect
- Anonymous account. When you open the app we create an anonymous ID (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication). It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
- Your marks. The countries and cities you mark as visited, so your map syncs and survives reinstalls.
- Diagnostics. Basic crash and performance data to keep the app stable.
What we do NOT collect
We do not track your location. The app never uses GPS — you mark places yourself. We do not access your contacts, messages, or photos.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active / not active) but never your payment details.
Data sharing
We use Google Firebase and RevenueCat as processors. We do not sell your data.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your anonymous data by contacting us with your User ID (shown in Settings).
